Happy August to one and all!
It's hot, hot, hot! August is usually the hottest month of the year for Salt Spring Island. It's dry, it's hot and very little rain to speak of. However, as always, things are happening. I am so excited that I'm finally getting some action going on my glass fusing front (which has taken forever~my very own kiln arrives in the next couple of weeks), as well as seeing my Patreon endeavours, video editing, healing salve & teas/tinctures development and compiling a recipe book for beloved recipes and inspiration, all start to come to fruition. It is ALOT! Sometimes you just have to trust, have faith and take those chances! Behind the scenes we are working on getting some things happening for 2027 and honestly hoping that it happens sooner rather than later. I will let you know of any updates. The goal when moving to Salt Spring Island was to own my own place with a studio that I could make in and people could shop out of. We are getting closer to that goal but it still remains annoyingly, just slightly, out of reach.
In the meantime, I've been busy filling online orders (by the way, THANK YOU for your continued support!) and learning all the new skills needed to make all the new channels and avenues of sales available. Please do look forward to my early September launch of my new products (both soaps and candles) online. I've just finished up my Fall production of soaps to be ready for the launch and starting to work on my Fall/Christmas in October online launch with NEW scents like Christmas Plum and Citrus & Yuzu for the Holidays!
There's alot to be done but that just means there's alot of good things to come!
