A more settled Hello from Salt Spring Island!
Unpacking is almost done and as I get settled, making has begun full force again. It is so wonderful to be creative again after almost a month off with the move. It was a BIG move but we are here and loving our Island moments! A heartfelt thank you for those who continue to order online. It is actually a little cheaper for me to ship from here to Mb than MB to BC simply because of the accessibility of couriers here on the island. It has been going really well and I am please to announce that we are now shipping through UPS to get deliveries right to your door. What a delight that is!
The short term plan for shows hasn't changed that much since previous blogs other than I have signed up for the Vancouver Art Gallery market for July 8th (hopefully the weather co-operates). All my Vancouver customers can find me there! I don't plan on being there in August for their Aug 5th market, simply because the long weekend will find me at the Salt Spring Island Farmer's Market in August and I'm not sure how the heat during August will effect products in downtown Vancouver. I realize that July in downtown Vancouver is risky for heat too but I have to try at least once to see what it all entails with ferry rides, setting up, etc. Sept I am planning on being back in Vancouver for the Vancouver Art Gallery market. I will give more details as that gets closer. But I am in full Farmer's Market mode so I will be at the Salt Spring Island Farmer's Market every Saturday from now, with the exception of July 8th, until October. These have all been added to my events on my Facebook page and my Instagram.
Holiday gift markets are still being planned for Vancouver, mainland BC and MB. I will give more details as those dates get closer. Right now, I know people get annoyed when I say that I am working on Christmas designs so we will keep that show schedule on the down low and let y'all enjoy the Summer. Come see me at the Farmer's Markets! It is so great to see you all in person again and catch up!
