Ho, ho, ho. Is it too early?

Hello friend!

June is here and things are cooking and being created on Salt Spring Island.  During these times of immense change and restructuring, I am pleased to announce that I've resourced a good Watermelon scent so my Watermelon Iced Tea is back in stock.  I am happy to say that the vast majority of my supplies are purchased from Canadian owned and operated companies and of course, my products are all made by lil' ol me, right here on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada.

There is alot of news this time around as I have just finished my application with the Salt Spring Island Fall Fair on Sept 6th and 7th this year!   I am looking forward to not only participating as a vendor but also entering some of my soaps for judging as well.  Candles and bath bombs aren't a category for the fair judging but I will have a great selection at my booth at the fair.  It's going to be a lot of fun!

I'm also excited to announce the arrival of a NEW Hartmont scent called Sunshine, Moss & Sage.  It is such an incredible Hartmont blend that features the earthy components of Moss & Eucalyptus along with the herbal components of Sage, pepper and Coriander.  All blended with just a light hint of bright and happy sweetness to lift the whole blend into something special.  It is sooo good!  It's outdoorsy, mossy and bright.  It reminds me of a sunny day in the forest.   I'll be pouring it into tealights and it will be added to all of my online orders for a few weeks for free so that you get a chance to try it out yourselves.  It will be one tealight only for your free add on, as it all has to fit into my current pacakging without adding much extra weight or space requirements.  Of course, remember that a larger candle or multiple tealights or melts will emit stronger scent within your room but a tealight will give you a good idea of what you are working with.   I think it will be a great scent at any time of year!  It is already on my webpage if you want to be one of the first to order it in a full candle size!

On our glass production front, I am thrilled/relieved/delighted (and all the corresponding waves of emotion) to announce that I have found a work space that will allow me to experiment with glass fusing!  This was a BIG challenge as my current rental would not be able to handle the kiln.  Buying our own property is definitely a 2026 event but I didn't want to wait a whole year to get started on my fusing journey.   Fortunately, I did find a place on island (less than 5 minutes away from me) that will allow me the opportunity to start fusing and learning.  I will start to share pics as soon as I have something worthy of posting.  Bear with me!  Dare I even say that some Christmas designs are being floated around in the studio?!?

Thank you as always, for your continued online support and working with me as I change things up a bit.  I appreciate every single order and am always happy to share what I make with you, in your home or as gifts to loved ones.  Thank you so very much!

And now I'm off to design and start pouring some really unique soaps for you.  I'm starting off easier but when you see the brain teasing, math skills developing, architectually challenging soaps that I'm wanting to make for the Fair, you hopefully will marvel at the end results.  I will be making all of these items available online when they are ready for sale.  There is so much to look forward to!

Sending all of my love!

Lana
