September winnings and some NEW items online now (including a sale)!

Happy September to all!  Salt Spring Island Fall Fair is over for another year and I am so thrilled to accept the honour of winning first prize for my soap entries this year!!  I think I can safely say that I am one of Salt Spring Island's best soap makers.  The theme of the fair was Mad about Plaid so of course I had to take a crack at making plaid soaps.  Lemme tell you, it was not easy!  Suffice to say that tutorials on the internet are lacking in alot of details that are gonna make or break your results.   There was alot of trial and error and math involved in the layered pouring of these soaps but when success hit, it was very exciting results.   This is my NEW Vegan Olive Oil soap and it has an incredible lather too (as do all of my soaps).  I made the little tuxedo paper jackets to go with the soaps and enjoy them greatly as well.  It's that little less packaging, no plastic approach that lets the soaps shine on their own.

I did also enter my All Natural Goatsmilk soap in the Fall Fair and I am equally pleased to share that this soap won in it's category as well.  It's not a flashy soap visually but it is a stunner when it comes to using it on sensitive skin.  The extra proteins of the goatsmilk and the healing and soothing qualities of the Shea Butter in this soap makes for an indulgent sudsing up for dry, sensitive skin but is equally enjoyable on regular skin.  I already knew this one was a winner but it was nice to get the outside affirmation from an unbiased source.

To celebrate this Winning season, I have decided to hold a Fabulous Fall Stock & Save Sale for those looking for a great deal and thinking about stocking up for the season. Fabulous Fall Stock & Save Sale! 50% off! – Hartmont Candles   This is a while supplies last sale on certain 16 scents only.  This is older stock that smells great and works great but has less colouring than freshly poured candles.  As I change my pouring/creating to selling items created in small quantities (while supplies last) or poured to fill orders as received, it allows me to up the quality of products going out online.  It also makes me happier that you will receive the best quality possible when you receive your order!

Besides the sale, my online page has also been updated to include my current stock of NEW soap designs, NEW glass designs and Milk Bath Bombs.  These are all while supplies last too.  All will make great stocking stuffers (remember Christmas is only a few months away) or are just wonderful ideas for treating yourself!  I am starting to work on my holiday soaps and will be looking forward to offering them in the weeks ahead!  There's always lots of fun and excitement going on here and I'm looking forward to sharing them all with you as NEW products get made.  Of course, be sure to follow me on Instagram @hartmontcandles and on Facebook under The Hartmont Candle Company Ltd banner as Facebook won't let me change my name for my page (or I haven't figured it out, at least).  There you will see when I am launching my limited edition sales of unique items.  Of course, I will sell my candles year round online but the change will be that I am pouring to fill your order.  This means order delivery time might increase a few days to allow me the extra time for custom pouring but I think it's worth it!

As always, thank you for your continued support and enjoy shopping the NEW and on sale items that I have posted.  You will note that there have been no price increases this year on my candles and I'm happy to say that I'm not planning on making any major changes in pricing next year either.  It's another small gift to you in a time when everything is rising in price.  I love that you love what I do!

Sending all of my love!

Lana

p.s.  If you are ever having issues finding something on the webpage, there is a search our store tab around the top left corner of the website.  Just type in your inquiry there and it should come up for you BUT ... if you don't know exactly what you are looking for, I would suggest going down the left side of the page and clicking on COLLECTIONS.  From there you can see all the different types of things that I make and sell and you can see what interests you from there, click on that icon and see all the individual items within that section.
