I'm coming to see you Vancouver!

Lana McCullough

It's mid September already and I'm busy with the Salt Spring Farmers Market and getting ready for an Oktoberfest Market the last weekend of September in downtown Vancouver!

Yes, Vancouver, I'll be there Sept 28th and 29th at the Junction Public Market from  11 am - 9 pm Saturday and 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday.   The market is at 200 Granville Street at the outdoor plaza between Waterfront Station and Canada Place.  Just down the street from where the Vancouver Christmas Market is held.  Except, this year, instead of being at the VCM, I'll be at this Oktoberfest market.  It should be warmer, I'm not sure about drier and I'll have my candles, bathbombs and lip balms there for you to shop from.

In honor of the Junction Public Market event, I have made a NEW blend for this Fall.  Bourbon Mulled Cider is my new scent and it's a wonderful blend of my Mulled Cider (which was great but a little bit too sharp for me) and Kentucky Bourbon (which is warm and mellow with a touch of sweetness).  The two together are a wonderful spicy, fruity, warm scent that is delightful.  You have to come down to the market and give it a sniff!  I'm pretty sure it will go home with you!  Of course, I'll have Spiced Cranberry, Woodland Whisper and the top sellers at the market but in the theme of Oktoberfest, I will have my Beer scented candle there as well and a nod to some non-alcoholic scents with Root Beer, Cherry Cola and Lime Cola.  I'm enjoying creating some bath bombs in Root Beer, Cherry Cola and Lime Cola in a pop bottle shape.  I haven't done it before because I thought it might be odd to soak in Root Beer. haha   But requests have been made so I am throwing caution to the wind for this event.  I just cannot make a Beer scented bath bomb....I'm sorry.  I have to draw the line somewhere.

For 2024, this will be my only trip to Vancouver to sell at a market so if you can plan ahead for Christmas and want to shop in person, this is the time to do it!  A teeny accident resulted in a boo boo to my knee which is limiting my ability to haul things around so a light Christmas market season is ahead for me.  But, of course, I am still selling online which makes me accessible to you 24/7.  Don't worry, everything is healing ... just not as quickly as I'd like.

I will still be going to the Creative Craft Fair in Victoria November 8th, 9th and 10th and am finalizing a local Christmas market on Salt Spring Island on the weekend of December 7th.  I'll post more information on that as it becomes available.  Markets that are closer to home, mean that I have hands to help me carry things around and set up.  It is a greatly appreciated luxury this year!  Unfortunately this also means that I will not be coming to Winnipeg this year.  I am trying to be very diligent to get as much of my bath bombs and soaps online as possible to be able to supply my long distance customers online if I cannot be there in person.  Free shipping over $100 does apply to make online shopping a happy option for those far away.  I always appreciate the online support and am looking forward to making some special Christmas designs in the soaps and bathbombs to encourage some serious online shopping.  Stay tuned for that!

As always, thank you for your continued support, kind words and just being fantastic!  It means so very much and I will always be grateful and appreciative of you!

Sending all of my love!

Lana
