Inspiration & success!
Here on Salt Spring I am surrounded by ocean and alot of trees...all sorts of trees. I'm pretty sure that I don't even know what half of them are. The good majority though are fir trees and cedar trees. And as I lay in bed at night I look out my window at the vast array of stars above the treeline that I have a pic of above. It is very pretty! So it makes sense that my first vision for my frosted glass would be a fir tree design. I had the vision in my head and after many months of figuring out how to achieve it with the proper equipment, I finally sandblasted my own design onto glass. I am so pleased with the results!
I've got gift boxes coming this week to complete the gift set and when that happens I will be putting these candles up for sale first on the webpage. I know I'll have trouble keeping them in stock over my holiday show schedule so I want to give my faithful online shoppers the first shot at them before supplies run out.
