Visitors - West Coast Women's Show
And just like that... Fall Show Season and Holiday Season is upon us!
First of all, thank you to everyone who came out and supported me at my first show back in North Vancouver this past weekend. It has been 9 years since I've been at Lonsdale Quay selling and this was just right beside Lonsdale Quay so it felt like a trip back in time for me. I do enjoy North Vancouver so very much! It was a fun weekend filled with lots of great conversations and sales. What a delight to experience again!
I will be selling at the Salt Spring Island Farmers Market again this upcoming Saturday and my next BIG event is the one with the link at the top of the blog - The West Coast Women's Show at the Tradex in Abbotsford. This will be my first 3 day event of the season. This week on Wednesday, instead of a reel, I will be having a give away for free tickets to the show so be sure to follow me on Instagram or Facebook to win!
This show is on Friday (Oct 13)1-9pm, Saturday (Oct 14th)10-6pm, and Sunday (Oct 14th)10-5pm....just in time to catch a ferry ride home and fall into bed around 11 pm. It's going to be a busy and hectic weekend of sales. Come early as they say this is an event notorious for selling out of stock. I will try to bring enough so that doesn't happen but being the first time, I am not sure exactly how much to bring. I'll do my best!

After this past weekend, I opted out of another show in early November simply because I do have to be aware of giving myself time to make stock to my high standards. You have to remember that last year I did a grand total of two shows the entire Fall/winter season. This is much, much busier than last year and I am so looking forward to it!
And finally, please remember that I will NOT be at the Vancouver Christmas Market this year. I really don't have plans of doing that event again. Instead of the 5 week marathon that it was, I believe it is now 6 weeks and I cannot step away from my online business and my customer base and service for that long of a period of time. Pre-pandemic it was possible because I had staff to help me hold the fort, so to speak, while I worked for 5 weeks straight. That is no longer the case with my business and I am building my business back by coming to your areas for shorter periods of time at more varied venues during the Fall/Holiday season. I look forward to seeing you all again this season! I am in downtown Vancouver twice, once at BC Place and once in Yaletown, before Christmas so I'm hoping all of my diehard Vancouver Christmas Market fans will seek me out at these venues that are just a few blocks away.
