Happy April/Moving Anniversary! It's hard to believe but it will be 3 years mid April since I made the BIG move to Salt Spring Island!  Time sure does fly by!  I'm doing everything I can to reach my goals here but I have to report that I am still on a holding pattern for my glass kiln to arrive (it's supposed to arrive some time in May) and still on a holding pattern to see if a studio space will be announced this year for my 'lil candle company.  I know... the waiting is so hard to do... especially when...

It's amazing how heavy the last couple of months have felt for me.  Just off is the best way to describe it.  The world seems to be on fire and what can one little person do about it except feel drained and unmotivated?  And then mid February, the haze lifted and the sun is shining again!  All of the sudden, my creativity was back and I was making new things again and actually enjoying it.  Oh trust me, there were alot of tears and angst before and during the break but I am so happy that the break eventually happened. ...

And February is upon us, with a sadness and uncertainty that just feels heavy.  There is no other description.  I am out here lighting candles to bring back the feelings of peace.  We can't hide our heads in the sand and pretend that anything is the same and nothing will effect us because it already has in so many ways.  I ache for everyone.  Those who have lost or are losing their livelihoods, those much worse off who have lost their loved ones and those who are just suffering to get through each day.  It's alot of weighted feelings and...

Happy New Year and it's the Year of the Horse (well when Lunar New Years hits in February)! I'm actually excited to see what the year will bring.  I have already started creating and planning for 2026 and it is alot of fun doing some really challenging creations.  It does take time and effort though so thank you for being patient as I slowly morph my way of creating.  Sometimes I've brought back some of my original ways of coloring candles and sometimes I've created even better products with new suppliers such as wood wicks.  What I have done over...

Just a quick note to say THANK YOU for all of your support online!  If you hop onto my home page, you will see that all of my bath bombs and most of my soaps have come close to or have SOLD OUT.  Just when I was thinking that perhaps I should not be making fancier soaps in the New Year, I get this overwhelming wave of support for everything.  It is so inspiring to get such support and I have renewed excitement for making some beautiful soaps.  As I've mentioned before, I do LOVE my soaps...
