Yesterday, I had the excuse to go to Winnipeg and pick up a few supplies to keep production and sales going.  Just getting out on the highway was a real treat!  Remember when it was a chore to drive to work?  It's been a month....to the day.  Now driving is a complete and utter delight!  I enjoyed every minute and to add extra icing on top of the cake, the roads were dry.  No drifting snow or wet patches! It's been a very difficult last few weeks as the decision to close the shop at The Johnston Terminal at The Forks and then a few days later, the studio in Gimli, were both incredibly hard to make. Never, ever would I ever imagine that such a situation would happen in real time. But it has. And here we are. I am still making stock for when we re-open and filling online orders. We've had a very successful Summer 2018 with the addition of our Gimli Studio being added to our # of locations that you can find our products at.  This studio is in Lana's home town (that's me) where I live.  It's so fabulous being able to walk a few blocks to work every day and take the scenic route along Lake Winnipeg when I'm in the mood.  I LOVE it! I've kind of laid low for 2016 so far....listening, planning and trying things out to see what direction to take the company in.  As much as I love my shop in Winnipeg, I have come to realize that as the creator of our products, I do not want 50 shops across the nation. Managing meetings and organizing payroll and scheduling of hours, is not why I do what I do. I do what I do, because I love creating great products.
